B009 - Campaign Builder - Introducing the Campaign (Level One)
Thursday Mar 26, 2020
Thursday Mar 26, 2020
Beginnings and endings are the same thing in early levels, as Dan and Adam resolve the first mission and launch the campaign, blurring the two together. Rewards, accolades, foreshadowing, and mystery greet our party when they return back to town with their ward, and the players will have more opportunities to discover their place in the guild, the town, and the religious landscape!
Takeaways:
- Resolving the first mission can give a lot of insight to the player types around the table.
- Early item rewards can help mitigate minor unwanted game mechanics.
- Having the party members reward each other can be a satisfying way to bring the party together.
- Resolutions can be excellent opportunities to provide foreshadowing and tonal hints.
- Not every mystery needs to have a clear answer, and NPC's may have conflicting information and hunches.
- Establishing mechanics early will allow you to focus on plot and not mechanics at later levels.

When it comes to doing DIA one more you have the the madman hidden inside a shop then you need to keep in mind that a good place to hide them would be inside the tremblay's rooms that he gave the party so that way then they would automatically have to be able to find the NPC and then also figure out that locklins lot couldn't get into their rooms.

remember back earlier when we had Locklins Lot breaking into the warehouse space to plant evidence This is a perfect example of tying in stuff to earlier comments. the evidence that was planted that point equals the evidence that producing to frame Trembly and now you guys can produce that evidence and argu they just succeed this time at planting evidence and could even have the breaking in and searching for evidence happen when the players show up as a dynamic encounter.

I really feel that Adam needs to scroll back the bag of holding items to 1e levels.
