If you like having a lot of preparation and having a Sandbox campaign The Simple Solution is to have pre-built pieces you can plop down the example of the Dwarven wig maker in the wig shop when you're scrambling you're trying to react as well as make your notes if you already have say 30 in PCS shopkeepers ready you should just be able to plot one or two of those down with the sandbox campaign recycling previous elements from other campaigns that the players haven't been in then maybe never met the character from three campaigns ago who was you know the the lightning wand wielding gymnast instructor for fighter thieves that will catch you off and on 20% off the price if you can do a backflip or you know you come up with an interesting acrobatic entertaining thing he's never seen before but you can use him this week today at this moment and they've never seen him before so you'll use with a the sandbox campaign you can reuse and recycle things without the silly having them pre-built and fully integrated in m pre-decided you could use like random charge you may wonder why people use their charts instant answers to PC questions that aren't contrived if you have the right list if you have them organized and set up and prepared sandbox boom ready. and you can have all of these things that the players are used to you having a fully prepared and flushed out in railroad campaign just by having yeah you've got a village is got some problems guess people are the only one who knows if y'all is preparation. you know you you sold those prepared you just don't know how to interact with them in real sandbox.
