Tuesday Dec 29, 2020
Tuesday Dec 29, 2020
This week's episode of the It's A Mimic! podcast is the first part of our two-part conversation that breaks down the ins and outs of life in an Orc Horde! Dan and Adam sit in the comfort of their own Guild Hall, and discuss what it means to be an Orc and what information Dungeon Masters might need in order to shine a spotlight on Orcs as an enemy mob! But there are too many monsters for just these two, so they've reached out to their own mob of Dungeon Masters who are littered throughout 5e's various locales, digging up details from every corner of the multiverse!
This episode covers the Orc, Auroch, War Chief, Eye of Gruumsh, Orog, and Tanarukk.
The hosts featured are Brad, Dave, Megan, Terry, and Tyler.

Read Mercedes Lackey's Owl Flight for what Orcs should be doing much like the Eclipse Bear totem clan in those books, but for the softness of the 5e writers....

Arguably there is NO WAY to eliminate 'racism' like 5e seems to be heading, Without eliminating the Elvish-Orcish hatred. So I am rewriting my campaign lore to eliminate as much as possible this core issue by changing the Lore dramatically. Starting with Halflings as the Progenitor race instead of freaking Dwarves and Elves.
