It’s been almost three years since the It’s A Mimic! podcast has covered druids, but the seasons have changed and the stars have aligned, so the panel of Dungeon Masters has convened to discuss nature, death, dreams, and rot. The last druid episode was not particularly flattering for the class, but there have been quite a few new books for Dungeons & Dragons 5th Edition since that recording. So the DM’s are ready to sit down and go over the Circle of Dreams and Circle of Spores, as well as the inspirations that can be found in Xanathar’s Guide to Everything, including potential treasured items, guiding aspects, and mentors.

As the panel of Dungeon Masters peers through the mists and into the domains of dread, they keep an eye out for what ghostly jaunts might inspire them, and what seems just a little too edgy. This is an odd campaign setting that isn’t properly explained in Dungeons & Dragons 5th Edition until the latest book, Van Richten’s Guide to Ravenloft, came out, and these DM’s revel in their love for all things terrifying, as they take a quick look at over two dozen little domains.

The panel of Dungeon Masters sifts through their minds to see what tasty morsels they may have for you when you’d like to play with Illithids. That’s right! The It’s A Mimic! podcast finally digs into one of the most popular Dungeons and Dragons villains: Mind Flayers! But as they pick each other’s brains about Mind Flayer society, the Elder Brains that run the place, and the super-powered Ulitharids, they have to wade through quite a few icky details.
